We will navigate on one of the most beautiful routes in the Danube Delta, on Channel 36 and Sireasa Channel, nearby the strictly protected area of Nebunu Lake to Fortuna Lake, until we reach Mila 23 Village. Once we arrive in Mila 23, we will continue the tour by boat to Sulina City, the easternmost city in Romania.
We will navigate according to the water levels of the Danube, on Trei Iezere Lake, Bogdaproste Lake, and Dunarea Veche Channel until we reach the Sulina Branch to arrive in Sulina City. In Sulina, we have time to visit the city, the maritime cemetery known for the graves of pirates, and even to reach Sulina Beach known for its exceptionally fine sand.
From Sulina, depending on the weather, we can navigate on the Sulina Branch to the confluence of the Danube into the Black Sea. It is an extra trip on whose route you can see the old lighthouse and the new lighthouse in Sulina.
On clear days, lucky ones can see dolphins swimming harmoniously in the Black Sea, sometimes even approaching boats. Leaving Sulina City behind, we will navigate towards Tulcea Port, on the Crisan – Gorgova – Maliuc – Vulturu – Partizani – Tulcea Port route, where we will end the program after approximately 7 hours.
