We invite you to join us on this tour, where you can enjoy a forest similar to the renowned Letea Forest. Thousands of years ago, the Letea Forest and the Caraorman Forest were one and the same, and over time they were separated by the Sulina Branch. In the Caraorman Village, locals organize forest tours with a safari car (specially modified).
The forest walk lasts approximately an hour and a half. Compared to the Letea Forest, in this forest, you can drive up to the “Kneeling Oak,” which is approximately 400 years old, as well as the “Hunters Fountain” and the “Table of Silence”.
After the forest walk, we return to the Caraorman Village, where you can enjoy a culinary experience specific to the area at one of the authorized local gastronomic points, with a traditional fish menu served in a traditional style.
After visiting the Caraorman Village, we will cross the Sulina Branch and navigate the Old Danube Channel to Mila 23 Village, where we will take a break to visit the village.
On our way to Tulcea, you can enjoy a beautiful route through the lake and channels area, passing through the Olguta Channel and Fortuna Lake and Baclanesti Lake, Sontea Channel, and Channel 36 until we return to the Tulcea Branch. After approximately 7 hours of adventure, we will arrive at our embarkation point, and the program will end.
